Geomembrane Liners

Impermeable geomembrane liners, typically called liners, are typically installed in order to keep a liquid from passing through from one side to the other. In civil engineering applications, liners are often used for holding water, but can also be used for primary or secondary containment of liquid to keep it out of the groundwater.

Exact Stormwater Management installs and repairs many different types of liners with common thickness from 10 mil to 100 mil (a mil is 1/1000th of an inch). To see some applications for liners, keep scrolling. To see more information on geomembrane liners, click this link to Wikipedia.

Pond and Lake Liners

We install many types of impermeable liners in the Southeast. Lake liners are typically 30 mil PVC, HDPE, LDPE, RPP, RPE, XR-5, and many other types of liner for the best fit for your application. With personnel in the liner business since 1992, we are the go-to company for liner installations.

Underground Detention and Cisterns

The use of impermeable liners in underground detention systems is becoming commonplace in construction of these systems. Exact Stormwater Management installs various types of liners in underground detention to keep water in for re-use or to keep ground water out of the local storm water system. We make sure the containment system is installed correctly, and can help navigate around common pitfalls.

Bioretention FacilitY, Biofilter, Dry Swale

Bioretention systems, biofilters, rain gardens, dry swales, compost amended grass swales, and many other variations of a semi-natural stormwater filter all serve to clean stormwater before it enters our streams. We install these systems turnkey, but are happy to handle the liner installation as a stand-alone installation for critical applications where leaking is not acceptable.

Secondary Containment Liners

Many fuel oil Above ground Storage Tanks are required to have a secondary containment liner in case of tank failure. We install XR-5 or HDPE liners to handle these secondary containment applications.

Landfill Liner Repairs

All liners receive stresses and typical wear and tear during the life of the system. At some point, a liner replacement will be required. Until then, let us repairs your lined system - landfills, secondary containment systems, lagoon, basins, etc.
